Art

Hey Fifth Grade!
I hope you are having a great week!
How did your Reverend Howard Finster portraits turn out? Which verse, or verses did you use for your contour line background? I would love to know. Alex shared his portrait with me. It turned out great! Thanks Alex!

This week's lesson will focus on the art element VALUE. We will create a gray scale and use that as a reference to the different levels of value when we draw our hands. Yep! We are going to draw our hands! You can do it!

The link to this lesson is;

The first pictures you will view are examples of pencil drawings of hands in various positions. Next, we will create a gray scale, then onto creating our artwork. I have entitled this lesson, Hand Drawing #1, #2, #3, #4 (all are examples). Then #5, #6 ,#7 and #8 will be instructions for the lesson ( all modified May 6 )

I hope you enjoy this drawing lesson. It will likely be our last art lesson for the year. Take your time and enjoy the process....and as always~ Share your artwork with me, I love seeing your creativity!
Miss and love you ALL!
