Now that you've had two weeks to study your 10 vocabulary words, we are going to have a quiz tomorrow. Today will be your day to study. You can go and play the games on quizlet or have a family member quiz you. I will send out directions tomorrow on how to take your quiz. You're going to do great!

Hey, guys! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. If you completed your direct address classwork from last week, then your grade for that should be in Renweb. If you have not completed that, then you need to go back to the page that is labeled, "Fifth Grade - Thursday, March 26th", and complete that. Below, I have copied a link that should take you to a voice over review of that classwork that I'd like for you to watch/listen to. *Make sure you are logged into your Google account when you pull this up. This week we are going to begin discussing appositives. If you went to LCA last year, this is something we have discussed before. Even if this is your first year, I think this is something you'll pick up quickly. I have attached a link to a Khan Academy video that should help explain appositives and how commas work with them. Watch the video below, and then, on the Google doc you've been completing your writing assignments on, write 5 different sentences that contain appositives in each. Try to mix up where you put your appositives!
Spelling
Go ahead and glance at your list of words for this week. It is unit 25. We will have a spelling test on Thursday! The spelling test will be formatted very differently than our normal spelling tests. It will most likely be like a multiple choice assessment. We are doing it this way, so you don't have to ask a family member to call out the words to you.
